At Firstrade, protecting your account is always our top priority. We’re excited to share that our newest security feature – Device Monitoring – is now available on both web and mobile app.
With Device Monitoring, you can keep track of all devices that have logged into your account in real time. If you notice any unfamiliar or suspicious activity, you can immediately remove those devices and safeguard your account with just a few clicks.
To get started on Web:
Log into your account on web
Navigate to Accounts → Profile → Security
From here you can manage your devices and remove as needed
To get started on Mobile:
Please update your app to the latest version from the app store
Log into your account on mobile
Navigate to Account → Security → Manage Devices
From here you can manage your devices and remove as needed
Strengthen Your Account Security
While Device Monitoring adds an extra layer of protection, we also recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for maximum security. You’ll find this option under Accounts → Profile → Security → Two-Factor Authentication.
